Description

This stunning wine pays homage to a family’s love and legacy in the hands of a legend. The fruit was sourced exclusively from the Peterson Family Vineyard, which is located at the mouth of Dutch Henry Canyon in Calistoga. The property has been in the Peterson family for over 100 years. The wine was beautifully crafted by Bob Foley, and commemorates his 40th anniversary of making wine in the Napa Valley. The base of the blend is Clone 7 Cabernet Sauvignon, bringing great power, fruit intensity and structure, rounded out by Merlot that provides a lush, sweet middle and velvety texture. The “secret sauce” of the blend is a dash of Petite Sirah sourced from extremely low yielding, dry-farmed vines that were planted in the early 1950s.
