This rare expression of Napa Valley winemaking is one of only 120 bottles that will ever be made. Your Premiere Napa Valley wine is crafted from 40-year-old Sauvignon Blanc vines that are survivors of the lasy phylloxera epidemic, having stood tall among acres of razed vineyards. These heroic vines are planted on the valley floor on deep loam deposits and their fruit offers a peek back in time and a taste of pure Napa Valley soil. This unique wine was traditionally fermented in neutral oak with native yeasts.

Winemaker, Elizabeth Spencer
Joined Elizabeth Spencer in 2010 as Winemaker. Previous experience at Scholium Project; Robert Sinskey Vineyards,Krupp Brothers Estates/Stagecoach Vineyards, White Rock Vineyards. We have a stellar winemaking team at Elizabeth Spencer. Spencer Graham is Director of Winemaking. He determined the original style of our wines and established the long term relationships with our grape growers. Sarah Vandendriessche is the Winemaker, overseeing all aspects of production, from managing vineyard practices through to bottling. Spencer and Sarah work together on all final blends. Robbie Meyer is our consulting winemaker.

Winemaking Philosophy:
We buy from a handful of premiere grape growers, with whom we work from vintage to vintage. Our winemaking philosophy adheres to a classical tradition. The model for all of our wines is intensity without excess weight, purity, persistence and length.
