Description

This rare expression of Napa Valley winemaking is one of only 120 bottles that will ever be made. Think of it as a bit of Napa Valley history in your cellar and celebrated in a glass with friends and family. Your Premiere Napa Valley wine reflects a departure from Beaulieu’s traditional style of winemaking. Top lots from the concentrated 2014 vintage, anchored by the historic BV No. 1 and BV No. 2 vineyards, were chosen and after aginga bit, the favorite barrel of these lots was chosen. Many elements went into this interesting wine, including the top Cabernet Sauvignon-producing nested appellations: Rutherford, Stags Leap, Spring Mountain, Oakville and Coombsville, as well as different fermentation vessels – stainless steel, wood, concrete tanks and 225-liter barrels. The wine exhibits immense concentration and seamless integration yet retains a sense of elegance and grace.
