“Yea though I come from the Valley of Napa, I fear no Cabernet, for I am elegant, flavorful and sophisticated. I am Symphony Merlot – Bottled Music.” We are convinced that the southern end of Napa Valley can produce extraordinary Merlot—much like that of St. Estephe and the Pomerol—and therefore chose Symphony Merlot for Premiere.
The fruit came from our Lake Cynthia Reflection Vineyard. Located on a south-facing slope on the north side of the only lake near the valley floor, this vineyard basks in the diffused sunlight reflected off the lake’s surface. Seeing how gracefully it has aged in the barrel, we chose allow it to solo here. The result is a Merlot that rivals Napa Valley Cabernet in flavor, complexity, sophistication and longevity.
