When choosing the fruit for our exclusive 2012 Premiere Napa Valley offering, Honig Winemaker Kristin Belair was once again drawn to three outstanding vineyards located on the west side of the Napa Valley: Bartolucci Vineyard in St. Helena, Campbell Vineyard of Rutherford and Rafael Vineyard in Oak Knoll. Nestled at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains, each site produces wine with exceptional depth and finesse, remarkable enough to be bottled on its own. When Kristin decided to combine these single-vineyard Cabernets together to create a one-of-a-kind 100% Cabernet offering, we discovered that, as the Westside Trio, these three vineyards make one unforgettable Cabernet Sauvignon.

Kristin Belair
Winemaker, Honig Vineyard & Winery
A University of California, Davis graduate, Kristin came to the Napa Valley in 1981 as a harvest intern at Trefethen Vineyards. By 1985, she was making Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay for a small, family owned winery in Oakville, Johnson Turnbull Vineyards, which later became Turnbull Wine Cellars. In January 1998, Kristin joined Honig Vineyard and Winery, where she has spent the past 20 years crafting nationally recognized, award winning Sauvignon blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
