Tiara
2010 Sauvignon Blanc
Atlas Peak
You’ve got your special occasion wines. Then you’ve got your everyday ones. And those are very separate things. Introducing Tiara. The 2010 Hill Family Estate Tiara Sauvignon Blanc is mostly a blend of two different vineyards, from the Musqué clone. The bouquet displays extraordinary richness and freshness with layers of pears, melon, butterscotch and white ginger flowers. The palate has a rich creamy white peach flavor with sweet oak, reminiscent of a white Bordeaux, with a long velvety finish. This wine’s power and finesse take it out of the ordinary and into the reserve category.
Barrel fermented, neutral oak for 6 months.

Q: What was your inspiration for this offering?
A: Meeting with Doug Hill at the vineyard and realizing that we had something very special on our hands when tasting the fruit before harvest! This a hillside vineyard offers incredible Sauvignon Blanc characteristics that cannot be achieved on the valley floor.
