Description

George Hendry came to the Napa Valley as a small boy in 1939. One of his chores was caring for a small vineyard on the property, including selling the grapes it produced. He vowed that he would one day plant the whole property to grapes. In the early 1970s, he did just that. George Hendry has been a grape grower (officially) for over 30 years, and has been making wine from his own grapes for nearly 20. George aims for wines that reflect the terroir of the Hendry Ranch: wines with refinement, elegance and balance. Our Cabernet Sauvignon blocks, whose vines range in age from 15 to 34 years, provide the building blocks of the Hendry Premiere Napa Valley Barrel Selection.
