Napa Wine Company
Syrah
Yountville
5 cases produced
Description
Organically farmed by a fourth-generation Napa Valley grape-growing family, this Syrah expresses its nobility with up-front mulberry and cassis aromas complemented by vanilla and toasted oak. Supple tannins frame plum, licorice and pepper flavors. The grapes are harvested from our Block House vineyard, which is the first vineyard planted in Yountville, in the Napa Valley, by George Yount in 1838. This wine is made more in the French rather than Australian style, with a distinctive Napa Valley flair, and is balanced for drinking with food, with a long, refreshing finish.
