Since 1995, Cardinale has been crafted as a classic Bordeaux blend with Cabernet Sauvignon always in the spotlight, showing off its stuff in the leading role. Merlot, its constant companion, has always played the support role. Now, for the first time, we have radically reversed the roles of the players. Merlot has suddenly become the star and its constant companion, Cabernet Sauvignon, is playing (albeit proudly) the supporting role.
