Description
Schweiger Vineyards has carefully developed a reputation of producing unique 100% varietal wines. Their flagship, a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, captures the very essence of what hillside farming can yield. So, when winemaker Andrew Schweiger proposed to the family that this year's auction lot would be a blend, the room almost imploded from the collective gasps! When it was further announced that Cabernet Sauvignon would not be primary component, but merely a supporting accent, Fred Schweiger slammed his fist into the table and shouted "We'll make a wine like that when pigs fly...!" So, as you walk the floor tasting the lots, keep your head low, Air Force Pig has taken wing!
