In 1993 when we began Lang & Reed’s exploration of Napa Valley Cabernet Franc, we called upon the Stanton Family for our very first grapes. Since that time we have come to recognize the important elements that this Oakville vineyard brings to our wine each year. Effusive perfume, yummy flavors and oh-so gentle tannins are the attributes that we know that the Stantons' grapes will deliver, along with a friendly handshake and a big smile. The 2005 vintage has provided a most complete expression of Cabernet Franc and the charms of the Stanton Vineyard in Oakville.
