Description
Quintessa is one of the most scenic properties of the Napa Valley and one of extraordinary diversity. Planted primarily to Cabernet Sauvignon, the 25 blocks of the Quintessa vineyard encompass a great diversity of microclimate and soil types. Quintessa, the wine, is created by blending the best characteristics from the best blocks. Very few blocks have been chosen every single year for the Quintessa blend but Corona Sur is one of them. Located on a rocky, well-drained ridge in the middle of the property, the wine made from this block is always characterized by complex, chewy tannins. Corona Sur has always been an important part of the structure and finish of Quintessa.
