1998 Charbono
Napa Valley
This is the first Cosentino wine produced from Charbono, a unique varietal with an intriguing history in the Napa Valley going back to Inglenook-Napa. The Charbono, which actually comes from some of the original Inglenook vineyards, is masterfully blended with Cabernet Franc. The wine is ripe with currant, blackberry and plum and an unusually long briary finish with mineral notes.
