Q&A With the Winemaker
Q: Premiere Napa Valley wines are innovative and allow each winery to showcase the region's sense of exploration in fine winemaking. What kind of exploration did your Premiere Napa Valley wine allow you to do?
A: No fancy or tricky winemaking needed. We are always looking to show people how well Pinot Noir does in Carneros.
Q: What was your inspiration for this offering?
A: On our diverse 400 acre vineyard, we have many different blocks and Clones of Pinot Noir... Each block has its own personality and offers something unique in a blend.
Q: Fill in the blanks: I chose to make this wine from this particular ______________ because ______________.
A: I chose to make this wine from this particular Pinot Noir - Martini and Swna Clone/Selection because The Swan Selection has nice bright red fruit and beautiful aromas. The Martini Selection has darker fruit aromas and flavors, a silky texture and nice spice. The compliment each other perfectly.
Q: Why should a wine lover have a bottle of this wine in their cellar?
A: Can't beat Pinot Noir when it comes to pairing with so many different foods. Also, this Pinot Noir has the depth to age for a good 10+ years.
