Description
Five cases of 1999 Merlot from our west-facing hillside vineyards overlooking the Silverado Trail. Low yields of 2.5 tons per acre from vertically-trellised high-density plantings produced concentrated fruit that was fermented with native yeast, aged in 50% new French oak barrels and had no filtering or fining.
