Description
A rare varietal, exquisitely crafted from a Napa Valley dry-farmed, head-trained, old-vine field blend vineyard in St. Helena. This inky wine from over 100-year-old vines is naturally fermented with indigenous yeast, and does easy time in a Francois Frere oak barrel for 18 months. These ancient vines produce pea-sized berries of intense color and flavor, with subdued tannins and blackberry characteristics.
