A careful and detailed evaluation of this vintage has resulted in an optimistic, forward Premiere selection which shows to great advantage the unique complexity for which this historic site is known. This barrel of PlumpJack Winery's 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon has been specially selected in exactly the same manner as our reserve would be chosen: a wine which expresses the quintessential nature of this rich Oakville Cabernet vineyard in notes of ripe, black cherries, baker's chocolate, sweet spices and dried herbs.
