Description
Glancing into the western hills while driving by Oakville Grocery, one sees a beautiful knoll of terraced vineyards rising from the Mayacamas range. Here, where hillside meets benchland, is Emilio’s Terrace. The 4½-acre vineyard produces Cabernet Sauvignon that is a pure expression of Oakville with an added dimension provided by its hillside origins. Proprietor Phil Schlein, and Winemaker Joe Cafaro, selected this single barrel of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon for Premiere Napa Valley.
