Description
One of the greatest skills of a sparkling wine house is the art of blending. In this DUET, our winemaker Wayne Donaldson blends the two traditional champagne red varieties to create a truly unique still wine. The grapes for this wine are sourced from our Carneros Ranch, home to our sparkling wine program and limited-release still wine program. The Pinot Noir in this blend is selected for its grace and elegance while the Pinot Meunier adds depth, power, and body. Together, we have created a rich and harmonious wine with aromas of cherry and black plum, and flavors of truffle and mocha.
