Description
"It has to be outstanding" has been our mantra, and why else would we want to introduce a new wine? The keys are finding the finest, lowest-yielding clones available and matching them to ideal rootstocks and sites. Work with these raw materials, refine blends and techniques to capture the nuances of place and grape, and have a year with the excellent growing conditions of 2002, and something "outstanding" can indeed emerge. The aromatics are enticing, the flavors deep and complex, and the balance of the wine grants pleasure now with promises of more in the future. No wonder we are willing to put our family name on this wine!
