Description
This 2002 State Lane Cabernet Sauvignon from State Lane Vineyard in Yountville is bursting with both dark and bright berry fruits. Black cherry and plum aromas are balanced by bright red cherry and some raspberry aromas. In the mouth, the wine has a huge entry with strong, yet well-balanced tannins, and a long finish of dark chocolate and coffee. This barrrel—36 month air-dried, Troncais forest—was isolated from the rest of the blend early on, especially for this event.
