Description
Laird Family Estate's offering blends two of their single-vineyard wines, combining fruit from both ends of the Napa Valley. The vineyard-designated Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (92 percent) from the north and the Suscol Ranch Merlot (8 percent) from the south work together to emphasize the Laird's accessibility to Napa's finest grapes. Winemaker Paul Hobb's talent in bringing out the terroir of a vineyard is illustrated with these two wines separately, and his blending expertise is shown with this marriage.
