Description
The unparalleled intensity of BV's special Clone 6 Cabernet derives from it's rare, pre-phylloxera lineage and the superb terroir where it is planted: BV #2 Vineyard, originally planted by founder Georges de Latour in 1910 on fine gravel-loam benchland soils. The singularity of Clone 6 was discovered during BV's pioneering 14-year-long clonal trials. This single-vineyard, single-clone wine is completely different from any other Cabernet—more spice and mineral, more flavor intensity, with a firmer structure for aging and superb length in the finish.
