Description
In the center of the renowned Beatty Ranch lies Tobin Block. Planted in 1972, it is home to the oldest Cabernet vines on Howell Mountain. Each vintage, these vines yield a small crop of tiny berries that produce intense Howell Mountain characteristics. The ideal growing season in 2004 allowed us to craft a classic Cabernet with aromas of cassis and blackberry, and ripe tannins rounding out a lasting finish. This wine represents the best offering from our Cabernet vines.
