Description
Scaletta celebrates the remarkable versatility of Napa Valley fruit through a beautifully composed, classically styled Bordeaux blend. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, it's lifted and enriched by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot; the wrinkle is a touch of Petite Sirah that adds flair to the final flourish. Sourced from standout vineyards across the Napa Valley, this wine showcases silky tannins, lively acidity, and generously textured fruit from an exceptional vintage. Oleandri's intent to capture the depth, harmony and heartbeat of Napa Valley is on full display, highlighting the impeccable terroir that we are lucky enough to call home.

Winemaker, Oleandri Wines
Fred is a veteran of Napa and Sonoma Valley harvests, and received his technical winemaking education through the University of California Davis program in Viticulture & Enology. Fred’s introduction to winemaking began very early when grandfather Giovanni Vella bottled California reds and grandfather Onofrio D’Amato made the case for Italian reds and whites in the 1970’s. Fred is thrilled to work with winemaker and craftsman, Patrick Saboe, and the elite Oleandri team dedicated to year-round winemaking.
