Description
This wine is sourced from a single vineyard located on the north side of Zinfandel Lane in the St. Helena appellation. The vineyard and grapes are certified Organic by CCOF and Regenerative Organic certified (ROC certified).
In the winery, the grapes are whole-cluster pressed and the unsettled juice is allowed a native cool fermentation in old neutral French oak barrels. The lees are stirred throughout its 8-month élévage and the wine is racked once at bottling, when it's bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The finished wine is dry, fresh, and crisp with a subtle weighted creaminess on the palate to balance out the racy acidity, complemented by aromas of pineapple, citrus, lemongrass and green apple. This is an Albariño that can be enjoyed now but will greatly benefit from three years to more than a decade of aging.

Seth Cripe
Winemaker, Lola Wines
Seth Cripe founded LOLA in 2008, focused on farming grapes and producing wines with integrity, purity and soul. After over a decade working for some great wineries around the world, Seth planted LOLA's first Pinot Noir vineyard in Sonoma Coast in 2004 and now tends to over 60 acres of grapes in Napa and Sonoma. "A winemaker is a caretaker of what nature does on its own." Seth says. "We assist and attempt to guide nature each step of the way, from farming through fermentation to ensure that all of our wines showcase purity, natural balance and freshness - as nature intended them to be."
Launched in 2019, Seth's Cru de Clos wines are the culmination of his work the past 3 decades in identifying the greatest sites of Napa & Sonoma that produce distinctive wines of power, purity and place. Wines that are destined to stand alongside the world's best.
