Description
Created from older vines (17-plus years), this wine comes from an anomaly in our A block - a patch of Bale loam surrounded by Cortina; this deeper, richer series sprinkled with cobble produces the most luxurious wine from the estate. The wine has a depth and concentration that is unrivaled from the property.

Dan Petroski
Winemaker, Larkmead Vineyards
Winemaker Dan Petroski came to Northern California from New York via Italy where he spent a year living and working with the family that owns the Sicilian winery Valle dell'Acate. Dan has been with Larkmead since 2006 and is responsible for the wine making at Larkmead. His old-world sensibility is a key component of the grace and elegance of Larkmead wines.
