Description
We grow 12 Sangiovese clones in our estate vineyards, with two emanating from the Montalcino region in Italy. This specific clone we have bottled especially for our Premiere Napa Valley auction lot this year is traditionally grown in Italy on one of the steeper hillsides leading to the town of Montalcino. In our St. Helena estate vineyard, this clone yields small grapes with intense flavor that produce a wine of dense color and extraordinary length.
