Merryvale Vineyards is a family-owned Napa Valley winery dedicated to passionate winemaking and the fine art of living well. In our wines, we seek the perfect balance between elegance and intensity. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from our Merryvale estate vineyard, which is farmed by David Abreu and lies in the hills east of St. Helena at almost 900 feet in elevation. Opulent flavors of cassis, blackberry, kirsch and mocha are seamlessly integrated with the fine tannins that have become a signature of the vineyard.

My goal after school was to expose myself to as much variety in winemaking styles and traditions as possible, with internships around the world (Tuscany and New Zealand) and across the north coast of California. The depth and power of mountain-grown Cabernet-based wines drew me back to Spring Mountain at Cain Vineyard & Winery, then later on across the valley to Merryvale's estate vineyard in the hills east of St. Helena. This remains my focus and my passion today.
