Description
The Romans believed their grapes gained character in adversity. Their most treasured vines were grown on steep mountainsides. At 1,492 feet about the Napa Valley, our Veeder Crest and Veeder Summit vineyards yield grapes that reflect the vines' struggle in steep, rocky and water-starved soils. With an intense Cabernet Sauvignon backbone, this elegant wine is infused with sublime suppleness by the inclusion of the Malbec, while a dollop of Cabernet Franc adds to the complexity with an explosive spiciness. This special wine represents our passion and commitment to produce wines grounded in our founder's vision of respecting the land and embracing our terroir.
