Description
This unique blend of Larkmead Cabernet Sauvignon, which we call the "Olmo Selection," is made from the oldest vines on this historic estate. The clone was developed by Dr. Harold Olmo (U.C. Davis) at Larkmead in the 1930s and became the foundation for the UCD Oakville Station. The wine is maturing in 100% new French oak for 18 months, overseen by our winemaker Paul Hobbs.
