Description
This lot represents a singular selection from our BV #2 Vineyard in southern Rutherford, comprised solely of the famous Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon. This clone originated over 100 years ago in Bordeaux, and was the most powerful and distinctive Cabernet in our clonal trials. Our BV 2002 Napa Valley Premiere lot is 100% Clone 6, aged in all new French oak, from block C2. The 2000 vintage yielded a powerful, yet highly aromatic and elegant wine.
