Trois II
2016 Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley
This beautifully made wine has outstanding pedigree and was crafted from three Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in three different appellations - Stagecoach Vineyard (Pritchard Hill), Yates Family Vineyard (Mount Veeder) and an historic vineyard in Rutherford. Very expressive, the wine shows a layered and solid core of dark mountain fruit, while the mid-palate shines from the influence of Rutherford - luscious fruit with hints of dust. We blended in small amounts of Malbec (from Rutherford) and Merlot (from Oak Knoll) which provide additional opulence. Delicious now, but built to age gracefully.
