Description
Gaderian Wines is privileged to be working with the most amazing Chenin Blanc vineyard in the Napa Valley. Henry Ranch is a small whimsical vineyard growing less than 2 acres of old heritage vines. It is a combination of spur and cane pruned and managed on a vine-by-vine basis to preserve each ancient vine and allow it to flourish, growing the most delicious concentrated Chenin Blanc you'll ever taste. This single barrel selection of 2023 Chenin Blanc has been barrel fermented, aging sur lie and gently battonaged for a full, rich mouthfeel. This wine is currently tucked into the cave and slumbering in a neutral French oak barrel. Your wine is vibrant and bright with the crushable acidity of ripe pineapple and delicate aromas of honeysuckle and orange blossom. The 12-time Olympic medalist-turned-vintner Natalie Coughlin Hall and Napa Valley's favorite blue-haired winemaker Shaina Harding of Gaderian are on a mission to show the world how truly beautiful Napa Valley Chenin Blanc can be, and have made this varietal the cornerstone of their brand.

Shaina Harding
Winemaker, Gaderian
Shaina Harding Is a graduate of the UC Davis Viticulture & Enology Program who has been living and making wine in the Napa Valley since 2008. She has had the great fortune of being able to work with many of Napa's most creative and influential winemakers and has developed her own style while poking their brains and squeezing their grapes. She loves being among the vines and working in the vineyards, but her heart lies in the cellar gently guiding her wines from juice and must to bottled joy. Her nurturing style of winemaking ignores nothing yet allows the wine to flourish and become their best selves throughout the fermentation and aging process. She believes in being ever present and guiding her wines in the right direction, but never forcing them to be something they are not intended to be.

Winemaking Philosophy:
I'm a wine nurturer. I believe in letting each barrel become the best version of itself, but being ever present to make sure it happens. I believe if I give patience and love to my wines, it will show in the glass.
