Description

Grape Culture is proud to make its debut at Premiere Napa Valley with a wine that celebrates the diverse growing landscape of the region utilizing wines from our most prized vineyard partners. We believe producing world class wines requires three things - an excellent vineyard, exceptional farming and detail-driven winemaking. ‘3 to Infinity’ was produced from three different clones of Cabernet Sauvignon - 4, 7 and 337; grown at three different vineyards - Lot 260 Vineyard, Oakview Vineyard and Beckstoffer Georges III; in three appellations - Howell Mountain, Oakville and Rutherford; farmed by three Napa farming legends - Jack Neal and Sons, Nord/Sangiacomo and Beckstoffer. In sticking with our theme of three, we selected wines aged in three different cooperages - Darnajou, Taransaud and Francois Freres - that best reflected each site’s discerning qualities. The resulting wine seamlessly expresses our vision of each site in a single offering, bringing together some of Napa’s best dirt and humans. This comes from our third vintage producing Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with the goal to lay down generational roots for infinite years to come.

Country born: USA

Years in the wine industry: 10-15 years

Winemaking Philosophy:
Focus on the fruit and let data and intuition guide each decision. It starts with good fruit, continues with sound cellar strategies and protocols and great cooperage. What sets us apart is our fluid approach to every fermentation. We utilize technology that allows us to see how a wine is building from a color and tannin stand point during fermentation. This allows us to pivot the direction of a fermentation on the fly and make each next step meaningful as we try to get the best qualities each site has to offer.
