For the first time in history, three legendary Napa Valley producers have become one with the 2022 Founder’s Cuvee. Crafted from the finest Cabernet Sauvignon barrels of Heitz Cellar, Stony Hill and Burgess, this limited edition wine honors the relationships our founders forged during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Their shared dream was to transform Napa Valley into a world class wine region. This dream has become realized and is brought to life with your wine.

Meghan Zobeck
Winemaker, Burgess Cellars
Meghan Zobeck has worked harvest in several wineries around the world, including Clos Apalta in the Colchagua Valley, Iuli in Piedmont, Michel Rolland’s Chateau Fontenil and Bon Pasteur in Bordeaux, Bethany in the Barossa Valley, Australia, as well as Screaming Eagle and Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in Napa Valley.
Meghan was named winemaker of Burgess Cellars in 2020 and is particularly passionate about marrying Old World/historic Napa with low intervention winemaking styles and regenerative farming.

Brittany Sherwood
Winemaker, Burgess Cellars
Growing up in Long Beach, Brittany Sherwood was fascinated with biology and living organisms—an interest that ultimately led to her enrollment in the pre-med program at UC Davis. While taking “Introduction to Winemaking” to fulfill a course requirement, she discovered that the class opened up a whole new world of what living organisms could be. “I saw how winemaking is an amazing blend of science and art. Plus I realized there is this whole other side to life, with food, wine and travel.”

Reid Griggs
Winemaker, Burgess Cellars
Reid Griggs is a passionate first-generation winemaker who found his calling to wine through a fascination with the natural world. During his first vintage at Bedrock Wine Company, his work in the cellar along with visits to some of the oldest vineyards in the region solidified his inspiration to pursue a career in winemaking.
