Description

The Marciano Estate revitalizes a proud winegrowing history that dates back to 1872 when the Bourn family established it in St. Helena. David Abreu planted the 10-acre vineyard in 2007 into 22 discrete blocks of Bordeaux varieties. Your wine was crafted with meticulous attention to detail in farming with the skill and vision of renowned winemaking team Andy Erickson and Morgan Maurèze. Today it is headed by Morgan Maurèze, with Michel Rolland and Benoit Touquette as consultants. The 2021 vintage was another beautiful expression from this particular vineyard. We named our Premiere Napa Valley lot “L'Éminence” to appreciate the exceptional vineyard that produced this exquisite Marciano Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.

Upon my return to the Napa Valley I worked with Andy Erickson and Austin Peterson at Ovid Vineyards. I then continued working for Andy Ericsson for 8 years as his assistant at Dalla Valle Vineyards, Screaming Eagle, Arietta, Dancing Hares and Marciano Estate.
