The Rutherford Ranch Charlie’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is quintessential Rutherford. It captures the essence of the Abela Vineyard and speaks to the land and how it is cared for. From a certified sustainable vineyard, this wine is complex with many layers that will unfold as you sip. Notes of cassis, blackberry, anise and cocoa are framed perfectly by the sweet oak of French puncheons. There is a subtle power to this wine that will allow it to be enjoyable upon release or cellared for years of continued exploration.

Marc joins Rutherford Wine Company with a strong background in California winemaking, with a focus on Napa and Sonoma. He was most recently the winemaker for Treasury Wine Estate’s Etude Wines. He gained experience with other brands such as Chateau St. Jean, Sledgehammer and Run Riot and has international experience with Wolf Blass in Barossa Valley.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Wine and Viticulture/Enology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
