Beckstoffer Georges III
2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
Rutherford
In celebration of its 30th harvest, Amici Cellars has created a special lot of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the esteemed Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard in Rutherford. This hand-selected lot is aging 22 months in 100% new French oak, giving the classic Rutherford Dust flavors great density and richness. Historical records show that a portion of this vineyard was planted in 1895 by Mrs. Thomas Rutherford, but it was made famous in the 1960s and 1970s as the home of BV’s Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignons made by renowned winemaker André Tchelistcheff. Now farmed meticulously by Beckstoffer Vineyards, fruit from this historic vineyard is beautifully expressed in this special offering from Amici Cellars.
