Sourced from our estate located high in the eastern hills of Napa Valley, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is a true expression of the Somerston Estate. The property’s well-drained soils and microclimates convey the distinctive sense of place found in these wine bottles. Before release, this wine will be aging for 26 months in 100% new French oak.

Craig Becker
Winemaker, Priest Ranch
Craig Becker is a seasoned winemaker and has worked with a wide range of varieties planted at some of California's top hillside vineyards.
Country born: United States
Education: Driven by his strong interest in plan t and soil science Craig attended the University of California at Davis studying plant physiology, hydrologic science, enology, and viticulture.
Years in the wine industry: 15-20 years
Winemaking Philosophy:
It is Craig's artisan approach to winemaking and his extensive knowledge in viticulture that enables him to create superb wines from a wide range of varieties and sites.
Cody Hurd
Winemaker, Priest Ranch
Cody is a large part of the magic behind the scenes at Somerston. He has been involved in the production of our wines since the beginning. After starting in the cellar, his hard work and dedication quickly had him promoted to assistant winemaker. When asked what his favorite part of the job is, he replies, “making Napa Valley Cab!” He works closely with the director of winemaking to bring new and innovative winemaking techniques to the table.
