The Raven

Red Table Wine
Spring Mountain District

5 cases produced

Highlights

  • The Raven is the second wine in the new bird-themed series that we started in 2019
  • The theme here is straightforward: the bird represents a connection to the land that we farm from
  • This year the vintage and wine named the bird—dark and powerful from a nearly perfect growing season
  • Your wine is a 100% estate blend of the three main classic red varieties we grow, all picked before the Glass Fire

Description

This series of wines is all about the connection between the physical world that lives in, around and above the vineyard. This year the powerfully dark blend of 100% estate red varieties called out to be named The Raven—dark, powerful, iridescently beautiful and still graceful through the sky. I fell in love with this vintage on the vine and am ecstatic that we got it in before the Glass Fire swept through.
