The wines of Rewa Vineyards are handcrafted by winemaker Celia Welch in partnership with viticulturist Mike Wolf and reflect the spirit of the team and its place in the Coombsville nested appellation. Joined by Anthony Washington, estate director, they have earned accolades from critics and collectors alike. Rewa Vineyards is located on a rocky knoll that once lay beneath the surface of a crater lake formed by the cataclysmic eruption of a young volcano. The site’s nine million years of geologic history guides today’s viticultural and winemaking practices, honoring the dissected topography of volcanic tuff, river-worn cobble and volcanic bedrock. Vineyards are sustainably farmed without use of harmful inputs to protect the soils. As a member of Fish Friendly Farming, Rewa Vineyards manages water resources to reduce erosion and soil loss and improve water quality. The Rewa Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon wines in your lot represent an historic vertical of 1.5-liter magnums from their first vintage in 2015 to the newly released 2018 vintage.
