Description

One of the rarest offerings of library formats ever offered from Opus One, this stunning collection of 6-liter imperials from very special vintages across five decades will enhance even the most complete cellar. From the winery’s very first vintage in 1979, to the first produced at the newly constructed winery in 1991, each of these bottles was selected by winemaker Michael Silacci. The classic red blends commissioned here include the 1979, 1987, 1991, 2001 and 2010 vintages. Michael chose each bottle as a shining example of the longevity of Opus One and because of his own sentimental connections, such as the 2001 vintage, his first with the winery. Your lot also includes a sit-down tasting and presentation of these wines with Michael on a mutually agreeable date.
