Description

Since the acquisition of the Blueline Estate 12 years ago, we have never crossed swords with Hourglass Estate. Our core identity has always been to feature varietal character, expressed differently by the varied terroir of each vineyard. But, what if they came together and we blended the estates? Our "50 Caliber" lot is just that - 50 percent Cabernet Sauvignon from Hourglass Estate and 50 percent from the Blueline Estate. This blend is a contrast in styles with a tensional balance - the dark and powerful black fruit of Blueline, structured and tamed by the elegance and red fruit of Hourglass; complex and multi-layered, with exquisite dimension. We remain driven by the principles of terroir, so this may never happen again.
