Description

We have put together a very special blend of wine from our estate HOUYI Vineyard that is much different than our normal offering. The 2015 vintage was a hot vintage which produced Cabernet with extraordinary strength and power. To bring balance to such a massive vintage, we back-blended a little bit of our Cabernet from 2014, which energizes the wine throughout with a lively acidity. Additionally, the heavier-than-usual amount of Malbec brings deep aromas of ripe blackberry, as well as a plushness to the mouthfeel which extends its breadth and length. It is a wine that can be enjoyed immediately, yet also has the potential to age and develop for decades
