Description

Honig’s sustainably farmed estate vineyard, located in Rutherford in the heart of the Napa Valley, is perfectly suited to growing classic red wine grape varieties. For this unique bottling, winemaker Kristin Belair chose fruit from individually selected estate lots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The Cabernet Sauvignon from the warm 2015 growing season is bold and rich, with dark fruit flavors. A small amount of Petite Verdot adds ethereal aromas of plum, lilac, violet and a deep ruby color. The end result is a wine with character and balance that truly expresses its origins. Aged in new 100% new French oak barrels.
