Hommage to Antonio
2015 Red Wine
Coombsville
This unique wine is a blend of 72%Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Cabernet Franc from the very best of Favia Erickson’s vineyard blocks in Coombsville, the most recently designated nested appellation in Napa Valley, and home of their newly renovated winery. The wine is named after Antonio Carbone, the original owner of the property, builder of the old stone winery and Coombsville pioneer grape grower and farmer in the 1870s. This Premiere Napa Valley wine shows the great potential of the Coombsville appellation, with a nod to the past and an eye on the future. It is aged for 22 months in French oak and bottled without fining or filtration.
Winemaker, Favia
I came Napa in 1993 to work with wine. When I was introduced the vineyard, everything shifted and growing plants, mainly grapes, became my life’s focus.
