Description

Wade Cellars was founded by NBA legend Dwyane Wade and partner Jayson Pahlmeyer (and family) in 2014. This is Wade Cellars’ first entry in Premiere Napa Valley, where they are focusing on their top bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Oakville nested appellation – a small lot sourced exclusively from the historic Pelissa Vineyard. The Pelissa Vineyard is in the heart of Napa Valley at the intersection of Oakville Cross and Highway 29. This site has been farmed organically by the Hoxsey family for more than three decades. The harvest for your wine took place on Sept. 8, where the fruit arrived with impeccable balance and chemistry. Native yeasts were used for the primary fermentation and maceration lasted a total of 25 days. This is a regal and polished lot of Cabernet Sauvignon that offers a full display of depth and fine tannin that will allow for 20 to 30 years of cellaring.
