Description
Farmed by the same family for more than 100 years, Morisoli Vineyard consists of 53 contiguous acres on the famed Rutherford Bench in the Napa Valley. Primarily planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, this historic vineyard’s fruit exhibits classic Rutherford Dust qualities and rich Cabernet Sauvignon character. Your wine is a complex, balanced wine with savory flavors of tobacco, coffee, cocoa and tart cherry. The mouthfeel is luscious, laden with blackberry jam, licorice and hints of herbes de Provence through the palate. A pure, silky finish shows bright acidity, mouthwatering red currant notes and firm tannins. To bring all these flavors together in harmony, your wine is aging for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels, a combination of Taransaud and Darnajou barrels.
