Farmed by the same family for more than 100 years, Morisoli Vineyard consists of 53 contiguous acres on the famed Rutherford Bench in the Napa Valley. Primarily planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, this historic vineyard’s fruit exhibits classic “Rutherford Dust” qualities and rich Cabernet Sauvignon character. The 2019 Amici Cellars Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex, balanced wine with rich brambleberry notes and Rutherford dust on the nose. Savory flavors of tobacco, coffee, cocoa and tart cherry create a savory, luscious mouthfeel, laden with blackberry jam, licorice and hints of herbs de Provence through the palate. A pure, silky finish shows bright acidity, mouthwatering red currant notes and firm tannins. To bring all these flavors together in harmony, your wine was aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels, a combination of Taransaud and Darnajou barrels.
- Wine is unfiltered
- Single vineyard wine
